“My role is to translate customer demand into the best. Together with my team I ensure that the logistics run smoothly from the factory. That can be quite challenging. Profiles are produced on 17 different production lines for different customers. These must be brought from the factory to the distribution center on time. From there they have to go to the customer, to be delivered on time so that construction on site continues according to plan. Bringing the right profiles to the right place on time is a logistical puzzle that goes on and on. KS Profiel has grown in recent years, so the production volume has also increased and logistics have become more complex. My people and I have grown in this and have been guiding in this. We now also send profiles from the production location directly to the customer through well-planned profiles. You get that space at KS Profiel, and I like that.technical solution. “My responsibility is the machinery of KS Profiel. We build our own machines so that we can produce exactly what the customer needs. When I came to work here, there was no own Technical Service. Now I work in a department with 8 colleagues and together with them I ensure that the production lines continue to work properly adjusted. KS Profiel is quite stubborn because we think we can all do the best ourselves. And we make that happen! We recently built one of the toughest profiling lines in Europe, making us the market leader in the thickest profile range. From design, construction to software control, we have built that line ourselves. That is instructive and also cool if you and your colleagues see the first profile coming off. There are now enough plans for other challenges at KS Profiel!”
